| Awsome router kit |
| Simply put, this combo kit is the one to get. Powerful and very easy to use. The soft start and variable speed are very nice. The case is comes with is pretty nice, bits and wrenches have a spot inside as well. I've only logged about 15 hours with it and have only one complaint, the switch stopped working. I took it apart and cleaned it up and it worked fine again. But other than that I've loved every minute with it. I'm a carpenter and furniture making hobbiest. Definately worth buying. Bosches portable table saw is very good also. |

| This is the best tool I own. The second best is my bosch sliding compound miter saw. Coupled with my bench dog router table this router will do anything, raised panels or whatever. It is very smooth and quiet for a router. |

| I'm not sure how helpful this will be to prospective buyers of this particular item, as it's more related to the purchase in general. The only thing that keeps me from putting up 5 stars is that I haven't had a chance to put the Bosch router through its paces yet. That said, the whole process of ordering and receiving this product through Amazon was - on its own - flawless! I read hundreds of reviews about this and other tools and (Amazon) and as the title says...so far, so good. The tool and accessories was the best deal I've found or even heard of. Everything was securely and neatly packaged. Delivery was timely (not to mention free shipping!). I'm sure shipping and packaging problems do occur, but there was nothing to indicate that Amazon attempts to provide anything less than '5-star service'. I bought the Bosch to compliment my current router - a Porter-Cable 690 - that has served me well for many years. I'll write back soon to rate the performance of the 1617EVS. With the excellent case and a rather impressive set of accessories in this package, I anticipate a good experience. |
